What were originally a small network of structured catacombs grew into a vast network of tunnels and chambers due to the efforts of a number of angels and humans. As the network spread beneath Moscow, more migrated underground desparate for a place to call their own, if not hide, in a world of shadows. Eventually, the whole system became an organized effort to help the whole of humanity fend off the demons.

The hub of human activity, Moscow is no longer a thriving city of culture. Fear pervades the cobblestone streets, deciet fills the dark corners and empty alleys, and paranoia sends chills up spines at the rustle of yet another piece of windblown garbage. The people that live here do their best to attract as little attention to themselves as possible to just keep living their "normal" lives.

In Greek mythology, the river Styx separated Earth from the Underworld, just like this modern day version of the blood-red body-clotted river. Originally known as the Moscow River, the River Styx severs Moscow in two distinct halves: the north shore with its traidional, albeit run-down russian establishments still belongs to the humans whereas the south shore seems to have run amok with demons and a real life hell, squalid living conditions and sordid company included.

Everyone expected fire and clouds of doom to surround the raised bit of hell, but the sky couldn't be bluer and the land less burnt, as if Lucifer wanted his castle to stand out like a sore thumb. The miniature mountain of spiked obsidian and sulpher that houses nearly the entire demonic population can be seen --and smelled-- for miles, an unhappy and constant reminder that the devil is real and he rules the world.

Originating from france, the Cirque Du Deux has quickly become one of the most infamous circuses in the world for their fascinating variety of humans, angels, and demons, all working together in an odd form of peace. The huge camp has since moved to Pandemonium at the beckon of Lucifer, but that doesn't mean Marcel is going to run his camp any differently. After all, the show must go on!

Only the brave or the stupid venture outside Lazarus on foot. Unpredictable flurries of ashes turn the ground grey and airy until trees wrapped in shadowvines stirr the blanket or burnt death. Or was that an Itatsi out to devour flesh and taint souls black? Nothing pleasant stalks these lands; only creatures of shadow.

Lavished from bottom to top, the suites of the bunkers are everything anyone could ask for --no one pinched pennies when decorating this hotel. Each suite comes with a king size bed, a plasma screen, a personal bath with a jacuzzi tub, and a small balcony with a view, all themed according to each floor. The entire top three floors of the bunkers have been reserved as apartments for their more permanent guests, but anyone can rent one of their rooms, granted they get more expensive the higher up you request the room.

Solyanka Strip has nothing on this street of sin. With demons running the show, anything and everything is a go, go, go! Its of little and less shock to find drunkards staggering between bars, kids romping through puddles of blood in the street, prostitues entertaining in alleys, and all under the glitz and glam of the Run.

Klochkov isn't all high-live and night-life. Behind the bright lights of Tantalus Run creep the poorest of Russia's poor. If those livinghere aren't scrounging through the Pitt's garbage, they're picking the pockets of the prostitues if they're not already working the corner. The slums are full of the too weak to find the Underground and too fearful to disobey Lucifer --or the gang that has grown out of the darkness.

Okay, I'm a sentimental pack-rat that can't get rid of all of the hard work everyone has put into the site. The whole board is open to we can all fall prey to the nostalgia when we're waiting for posts. By popular demand, all threads in here are public<3
